DMG Information, the information publishing division of DMGT, has sold the business and assets of Johansens Limited to the Conde Nast Publications group. Johansens is the publisher of the eponymous high quality guides to hotels, country houses and inns and a guide to conference facilities.

Johansens made a profit before tax in the year ended 30 September, 2000 of £0.2 million. The net assets sold had a book value of £1.7 million.
